Description: If you are an international secondary school student entering an undergraduate program at UOIT on a study permit, and are currently studying outside of Canada, you can apply for UOIT’s Global Leadership Award (GLA). The GLA scholarship is one of UOIT’s most prestigious entrance awards. Valued at $72,000 ($18,000 a year for four years), the GLA recognizes international secondary school applicants with strong academic and leadership abilities. Canadian citizens and permanent residents are not eligible for the GLA.

Submit a maximum of two letters of reference with your application. Ensure that the letters are in sealed envelopes that are stamped or signed across the seal by the referee. Submit completed applications to the UOIT Registrar’s Office via post.
