UQ merit awards in Agricultural Science or Agribusiness at University of Queensland, Australia

The University of Queensland is providing the Undergraduate funding for International students in Agricultural Science or Agribusiness in Australia.

In 2012 the University will be awarding up to 10 UQ merit awards, valued at $6000 for the first year of study, for Year 12 school leavers and gap year students who are keen to pursue studies and a career in agriculture or related discipline.

Eligibility:

Academic The studentships are open to current Year 12 and gap year students who meet the following selection criteria:

  • Australian Citizens or Australian Permanent Humanitarian Visa Holders; or
  • Australian Permanent Residents, New Zealand Citizens or international students who are completing or have completed Years 11 and 12 in Australia
  • have applied for a tertiary place through the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC)
    are intending to enrol as a full-time student in an undergraduate program at The University of Queensland in 2012
  • have UQ listed as either your 1st and/or 2nd QTAC preference.
