Eligibility: 1.be applying to the Master of Public Policy programme at the University of Oxford;
2.be a Chinese National and a permanent resident of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (the “HKSAR”); 3.be a holder of a valid HKSAR passport; 4.intend to return to and permanently reside in the HKSAR upon completion of his/her studies.

Scholarship Open for Students of Following Countries: The students of Hong Kong and China can apply for this scholarship.

Scholarship Description: In addition to the scholarships available for all Oxford graduate students, up to two fully-funded scholarships for Hong Kong students have been made available thanks to a generous gift from Dr Walter Kwok. The Walter Kwok Scholarships are available to Master of Public Policy applicants for each academic year. The aim of the scholarship is to reward university graduates who demonstrate exceptional academic merit.

Number of awards offered: Two Scholarships are offered.

Duration of award(s): Scholarship is offered for 12 months.

What does it cover? The Scholarship will provide all tuition and college fees, and a stipend to cover living expenses in Oxford, up to a maximum of £47,250.

Selection Criteria: Scholarships will be awarded to candidates who meet the eligibility criteria on the basis of their exceptional academic distinction.
