What we, the human species call our own, begins and ends with the wild. Intimately, interminably, inexorably… the future survival of the human species depends on not just coexistence, but our understanding, support and efforts at conservation.

The Better Photography Wildlife India Photography Awards (WIPA 2018) have been initiated with this in mind.

WIPA has an open theme across genres and types of wildlife photography. Photographs of wildlife inhabiting anywhere in the world are eligible for the awards. The Jury will consist of some of India’s most renowned wildlife photographers.

WIPA 2018 Emerging Photographer Award
This is a separate award for photographers of under 28 years of age.
Participation is on the basis of submission of a portfolio.
The winner will be awarded a fully paid admission into the 5-day Wildlife Photography Masterclass in Bandhavgarh.

REGISTRATION PROCESS

STEP-BY-STEP PARTICIPATION:

1. Register yourself on our contest page www.betterphotography.in/wipa2018 and sign in.

2. Submit your images in the appropriate theme.

3. The entries will be judged by a panel of eminent judges.

ENTERING THE COMPETITION

• All entries need to be made online as uploads after logging in to www.betterphotography.in/wipa2018 and filling up the registration form in detail.
• Entrants are allowed to upload max 5 images for WIPA 2018 Main Contest and 20 single images for WIPA 2018 Emerging Photographer Award.
• Entrants must be below 28 years of age as on April 15, 2018 to participate in the WIPA 2018 Emerging Photographer Award.
• There are no print entries. Entries sent through email, prints, or through any other means, will not be considered.
