NAMA Food Science Scholarship Foundation
The NAMA Scholarship Foundation is offering food science scholarship to undergraduate students studying animal/meat/food science and considering a career in the meat industry. These $2,250 to $2,500 merit-based awards are presented annually. Last date of submitting applications is 30th May 2014.
George Weston Ltd. Graduate Student Scholarships
The CIFST Scholarship Trust is offering two food science scholarships. One award of $2500 is available for a student in an MSc program and one award of $4000 for a student in a PhD program. Students must be enrolled in an accredited Master or Doctoral level program at a recognized Canadian university. Applications must be submitted by June 1, 2014.
IUFoST Travel Food Science Scholarship
This scholarship is available to a qualified graduate student, working towards a M.Sc. or Ph.D. in a food related field. The Travel Scholarship will cover travel costs, student registration, accommodation and reasonable expenses for food and incidentals. The awards will be based on the students’ scholastic performance. The deadline for application is June 1, 2014.
University of Queensland Food Science Scholarships
Food science scholarships are available for pursuing undergraduate degree University of Queensland in Australia. These scholarships will be awarded up two semesters. International students can apply for these scholarships. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic performance and the applicant’s personal statement. Online applications will close on 30 April, each year.
Kasetsart University Food Science Scholarships
Faculty of Agro-Industry, Kasetsart University offers scholarships for new international students to undertake graduate studies (PhD and MS). 20 scholarships will be offered to the students. Scholarship applicants are required to apply for admission to Kasetsart University in the graduate program they have applied for the scholarships. Applications will close on May 31, 2014.
UCSI University Trust Graduate Fellowship
The UCSI University Trust Graduate Fellowship is offered to qualified candidates enrolled in any of the Master’s degree or Doctorate programmes at UCSI University. A limited number of fellowships are awarded each year. Application is opened to Malaysian and International students pursing full time postgraduate studies at UCSI University. Applications will close on July 4, 2014.
Nancy Sims Webb Memorial Food Science Scholarship
NC State University is offering Nancy Sims Webb Memorial Food Science scholarship for undergraduate students. Food science scholarship in the amount of $500 is awarded on the basis of academic achievement. Applications must be submitted by March 1, each year.
Heinz Wattie’s Food Science Scholarship
The Heinz Wattie’s Scholarship encourages students to pursue a career in Food Science at the University of Otago. Applicants must be enrolled as a final year student at a secondary school in New Zealand. The value of the scholarship is $500 for the first year of study and $2000 for the second year of study. Application documents must be sent no later than the closing date of 31 October, each year.
University of Massachusetts Food Science Scholarships
NDPRB in collaboration with Dairy Management Inc. (DMI), annually awards up to 19 $1,500 scholarships to sophomore, junior and/or senior undergraduate students. Scholarships are awarded based upon outstanding academic achievement. Applications will close in the end of May.
GFTC Legacy Fund Undergraduate Entrance Scholarship
The University of Manitoba is offering three scholarships up to $8,000 each. These scholarships are open to high school students with an interest in pursuing a degree in Food Science in the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences. Applicants must have achieved a minimum of 85% on those courses considered for admission to the University of Manitoba. The application deadline is May 5, 2014.
