Ohio Soybean Council Foundation (OSCF) Scholarships, 2017
Ohio Soybean Council is offering undergraduate or graduate scholarships in Ohio. Undergraduate scholarship applicants must be Ohio residents and enrolled as full-time students at an Ohio college or university. Graduate scholarships are available to graduate students who are enrolled as a full-time student at an Ohio college or university and have proof of legal residency in the United States. Six awards of up to $3,000 each, one Farmer Lumpe+McClelland $3,000 scholarship and one award of $5,000 to the winner of the Bhima Vijayendran Scholarship will be awarded. Scholarships of up to $5,000 each are available to graduate students. The application deadline is 15 January.

University of Laval Masters Scholarships in Food Science
Applications are invited for masters scholarships available for foreign student who is a citizen of an African or European country other than France to study at University of Laval. Applicants must graduate from a public university accredited by the ministry of higher education in their country of origin. This scholarship of $7,000 per year is renewable once, subject to compliance with the faculty’s criteria of excellence and upon the research director’s recommendation and faculty approval.

GFTC Legacy Fund Undergraduate Entrance Scholarship
The University of Manitoba is offering three scholarships up to $8,000 each. These scholarships are open to high school students with an interest in pursuing a degree in Food Science in the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences. Applicants must have achieved a minimum of 85% on those courses considered for admission to the University of Manitoba. The application deadline is 15th May.

CIUF-CUD Food Science Scholarships
Applications are invited for up to 150 CIUF-CUD scholarships available for students from Developing Countries inBelgium. Candidates must have a good knowledge of written and spoken French; for programmes organised in another language, good knowledge, in writing and speaking, of this language, is required. Moreover, the candidate will be asked to commit himself to study French in order to be able to participate in daily life in Belgium. Application deadline is 11th February at the latest.

Heinz Wattie’s Food Science Scholarship
The Heinz Wattie’s Scholarship encourages students to pursue a career in Food Science at the University of Otago. Applicants must be enrolled as a final year student at a secondary school in New Zealand. The value of the scholarship is $500 for the first year of study and $2000 for the second year of study. Application documents must be sent no later than the closing date of 31 October, each year.

UCSI University Trust Graduate Fellowship
The UCSI University Trust Graduate Fellowship is offered to qualified candidates enrolled in any of the Master’s degree or Doctorate programmes at UCSI University. A limited number of fellowships are awarded each year. Application is opened to Malaysian and International students pursing full time postgraduate studies at UCSI University. Applications will close on 4th July.

Kasetsart University Food Science Scholarships
Faculty of Agro-Industry, Kasetsart University offers scholarships for new international students to undertake graduate studies (PhD and MS). 20 scholarships will be offered to the students. Scholarship applicants are required to apply for admission to Kasetsart University in the graduate program they have applied for the scholarships. Applications will close on 31st May.

George Weston Ltd. Graduate Student Scholarships
The CIFST Scholarship Trust is offering two food science scholarships. One award of $2500 is available for a student in an MSc program and one award of $4000 for a student in a PhD program. Students must be enrolled in an accredited Master or Doctoral level program at a recognized Canadian university. Applications must be submitted by 1st June.

IUFoST Travel Food Science Scholarship
This scholarship is available to a qualified graduate student, working towards a M.Sc. or Ph.D. in a food related field. The Travel Scholarship will cover travel costs, student registration, accommodation and reasonable expenses for food and incidentals. The awards will be based on the students’ scholastic performance. The deadline for application is 1st June.
