Golden Scholarship
One scholarship is offered for the next three years with a value of £5,000 per annum for a female Home UK applicant on any undergraduate programme.
It is the donor’s wish that the recipient of this scholarship is the first generation of their family to attend university.
How to apply
To apply for this scholarship, you must download and complete an application form. By completing this form, you will ensure that you receive consideration for this and any other award(s) which you meet the eligibility criteria for.
The deadline for the receipt of applications is: 05 June 2009.

I am a 23 years old lady having completed my higher seceondary studies in 2005.But due to my poor economic background i could not continue my further studies. I had to rayher join government service after doing diploma course in national law from the Royal University of Bhutan. Now i am a regular employee in the Royal Court of Justice,Bhutan as a bench cleark. Now i am interested to persue for higher studies(LLB) but cannot afford on my own as i have my poor parents to look after.
As such i would like to request the concerned authorities if you could kindly provide scholarships for me under you programme.

Hello,my name is Shedrach, from south-east Nigeria, i will turn 24 this October. I graguated from secondary school four years ago, with WASSCE and NECO, I credited all my papers, expect Agriculture, which i got a pass. if my calculation is right, i should be graduating this year. I have done various labourous work to help raise money for my school, but it’s just not working out, because of other family predicaments.
I am the fourth in the family of seven { excluding my parents}. we’ve work so hard to get me to complete my secondary education, thank God i completed it, even though it was much of a hassle.Now getting into the University is like a white Elephant project, to be honest, my family simply can’t afford it. Please i really want to get at least my first degree. I have interest in Engineering or Statistics.
