Los Angeles Times is offering 10 weeks internship for reporting and Visual Journalism. Internships are for applicants actively working toward an undergraduate or graduate degree and must be eligible to work in the U.S.

  • For Reporting Internships: Applicants will be asked to create an account and submit a cover letter; resume with three references; one-page personal essay; and a link to up to 12 work samples. If they have a specific department they are interested in, they can mention that in their cover letter. Applicants may also submit your applications by mail.
  • For Visual Journalism Internships: Applicants will be asked to create an account and submit a brief cover letter; resume with three references; one-page personal essay; and a link to a portfolio with three complete photo stories or multimedia stories and a selection of single images.
