National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST) is offering international scholarships for 2 years (M.S. program), 4 years (PhD program) and 6 years (M.S./PhD program). Scholarships are awarded in the field of Structural Engineering-structural reliability, probabilistic risk assessment, risk based structure management, system reliability. The scholarship covers full tuition, stipend and annual conference funding. The application deadline is June 18, 2015.

Eligibility:
-English proficiency test: TOEFL iBT 80, or TOEIC 800, or equivalent
-B.S. degree in civil engineering or related fields to apply M.S. Program
-M.S. degree in civil engineering or related fields to apply Ph.D. program

Scholarship Open for International Students: Scholarship is targeted for international students.

Scholarship Description:
-Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology, the School of Urban and Environmental Engineering offers M.S. and Ph.D. positions in the “Structural Reliability and Disaster Laboratory”.
-The major research interests of the Structural Reliability and Disaster Risk lab lie on structural reliability, network reliability, disaster risk assessment, and risk?based structural design and maintenance. We investigate the performance of structures and lifeline networks under service loads and/or disasters using probabilistic approaches, for design, maintenance, and disaster management.

Duration of award(s): The scholarship is provided for 2 years (M.S. program), 4 years (PhD program) and 6 years (M.S./PhD program).
