Applicants are invited to apply for the MOE ASEAN Scholarships for the 2023/2024 academic year. Students from Brunei, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Philippines are eligible to apply.

MOE offers scholarships to bright young students from ASEAN countries and China to study in Singapore.

The ASEAN grant aims to provide opportunities to the young people of ASEAN to develop their potential and equip them with important skills for the 21st century.

The Ministry of Education is a ministry of the Government of Singapore that directs the formulation and implementation of policies related to education in Singapore.

Application Deadline: The applications for this grant will be accepted as the following:

  • Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, The Philippines, and Vietnam: 26 April 2023.
  • Cambodia and Lao PDR: 31 May 2023

Students who meet the following criteria are invited to apply for education:

  • These are awarded to learn any of the courses available at Singapore schools or Junior Colleges.
  • Students of Brunei, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Philippines are can apply for this MOE ASEAN education.
  • Scholarships for Brunei:
  • Are proficient in English.
  • Have done consistently well in school examinations.
  • Have a good record of participation in co-curricular activities

  • Are proficient in English.
  • Have done consistently well in school examinations.
  • Have a good record of participation in co-curricular activities
  • Scholarships for Malaysia:
  • Are proficient in English.

How to Apply

  • How to Apply: The mode of applying is online. Learners from Vietnam are nominated by the Vietnam Ministry of Education & Training for free study.
  • Supporting Documents: To apply, candidates must have no need to require supporting documents for this free study.
  • Admission Requirements: To apply for the program applicants must have a previous degree.
  • Language Requirement: The candidate should have a very good command of the English language. Therefore, the application should be written in English.
