Bayer Foundation is offering Otto Bayer Scholarships for undergraduate students in their advanced study period. Scholarships are granted exclusively to students from German-speaking countries wishing to study abroad and foreign applicants who want to study in Germany. Scholarships are awarded for up to 1 year to cover the cost of living, travel costs and incurred project costs. Applications should be send online till July 15, 2014.
Study Subject(s): Disciplines receiving support are: Biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, biological process engineering, bioinformatics Chemistry, chemical engineering, material sciences, environmental sciences, Pharmaceutics and drug discovery, Physics and Medical sciences.

What does it cover? Support is generally intended to cover the cost of living, travel costs and incurred project costs. Each applicant can request a specific amount of support by submitting a “cost plan” and the Board of Trustees then comes to a decision based on this request.

Notification: The selection meeting for 2014 will take place on September 5, 2014. Applicants who passed the multi-level selection process successfully will be invited to an Interview Center to Leverkusen this day. After the interviews the Foundation Committee decides on the scholarships.
