Shepherd University Scholarships for US and International Students in USA, 2014

Shepherd University is announcing two undergraduate and graduate scholarships programs to both US students and international students. Scholarships are awarded in Digital Arts at Hollywood CG School of Digital Arts and in Music at Cornel School of Contemporary Music.

Scholarships are awarded to outstanding qualified applicants based on the quality and creativity of their audition submissions. Full scholarships will be awarded to cover the tuition fees. Applicants who are not fully qualified may be considered for partial scholarships.

Eligibility

  • Shepherd University Scholarships are open for both US and international students. Basic requirements to apply for the Scholarship Program in the area of Digital Art:
  • A High School diploma or bachelor’s degree diploma
  • An official transcript in English along with an explanation of the grading system
  • Recommendation letters
  • A Shepherd University application form
  • Portfolio of projects (if available)
  • Basic requirements to apply for the Scholarship Program in the area of Music
  • A high school diploma or bachelor’s degree diploma

Scholarship Open for International Students: the US and international students can apply for these Shepherd University scholarships.

What does it cover? Full scholarships will be awarded. This full scholarship only covers the tuition and will be offered to students who have an excellent academic background (GPA 3.7 or higher). The application can also be supplemented with a portfolio if it’s available. Applicants who are not fully qualified may be considered for partial scholarships. The following details Shepherd Scholarships:

  • Shepherd Board Scholarship: Maximum $2,000
  • Presidential Merit Scholarship: Maximum $10,000
  • Dean’s Merit Scholarship: Maximum $10,000
  • Graduate Teaching Assistantships: Maximum $3,000.

How to Apply

How to Apply: As part of an admission application packet, a student will receive a scholarship application. By completing and submitting the form, the student can apply for a scholarship program.

Scholarship Application Deadline: December 1.
