Minimum eligibility for this award category: UK citizen (resident anywhere) hold or expect to obtain a minimum 2:1 undergraduate degree or the equivalent prior to your anticipated enrolment with a US university admitted to Harvard Business School Preference will be given to those who do not have extensive, recent experience in the US (6 months) and to those earning less than £40,000 per year, but this should not deter others from applying. British Friends of Harvard Business School will ask successful candidates for evidence of financial need and a commitment to return to the UK after graduating with an MBA.

Scholarship Description: Each year approximately 3-5 awards are offered in conjunction with the British Friends of Harvard Business School, a registered charity, to UK citizens for the first year of an MBA at Harvard Business School. Applicants must gain acceptance from Harvard in admission round 1 or 2 before making an application to the Fulbright Commission. Up to 5 awards are offered. The value of each award will be between $10,000 and $40,000. These awards are intended as a contribution toward the first year of tuition fees at Harvard Business School. Final award amounts may be adjusted to reflect any duplication of funding from other sources (such as other scholarship organisations or the host institution in the US). Limited sickness and accident benefit coverage, visa sponsorship and processing and participation in a number of Fulbright Scholar events are also included.
