Griffith University is inviting applications for Accounting scholarships available to students enrolled in or eligible to be enrolled in the Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Accounting) at Logan Campus in Semester 1, 2015. Applicants must be a continuing student 2nd or 3rd year, currently enrolled in Bachelor of Commerce at Logan Campus and an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident. Each scholarship is valued at a total of $1000, paid in two (2) installments of $500. Payments will be credited into applicant’s nominated bank account after each census date. The application deadline is 27 February 2015.

Selection Criteria: Selection will be based on the following criteria:
-Be able to demonstrate academic propensity either through an exceptional performance in prior learning (school, TAFE or other higher education); or have a GPA 5.0
-Personal statement in writing (no more than 500 words) demonstrating strong interest in the major area of accounting
-Be available for a interview by the Selection Committee
-Referee Report- please request one (1) referee to complete the Referee Report and attach to this application form
Evidence such as academic and personal references, school/higher education grade reports, and the like must be submitted with the application.
