­The University of Bradford is now accepting applications for Academic AAA and AAB Scholarships to study in the UK. There are is no limit to the Number of Awards available – all students who are eligible will receive the award.

The aim of The grant is to provide financial aid to Home/EU students.

The University of Bradford is a public, plate glass university located in the city of Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. University aims to lead the world in research and education.

Course Level: The studentships are available to pursue undergraduate programme.

Study Subject: The studentships are awarded to study the subjects offered by the university.

Award: The University of Bradford is offering cash fundings worth up to £3,500 (over the duration of a three-year degree) to all Home and EU students who achieve AAB or higher in their A-levels (or equivalent).

Number of Awards: Unlimited scholarships available.

Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the opportunity :

  • All Home and EU students who achieve AAB or higher in their A Levels or equivalent (from three Level 3 qualifications only) – for a list of all qualifications and their equivalencies see the documents below:
    • UK Equivalent Qualifications and Grades 2017-18
    • UK Equivalent Qualifications and Grades 2017-18
    • EU Qualifications equivalent to AAA and AAB 2017-18
    • EU Qualifications equivalent to AAA and AAB 2017-18
  • Please note, the AAB award is linked to the grades you achieve, it is not linked to your offer or your UCAS tariff points.
  • If you have a combination of three level 3 qualifications which are not listed or if your country of domicile or qualification is not listed, please email us at AABscholarship-at-bradford.ac.uk to see if you are eligible.
  • Students must be commencing on their first, full-time undergraduate degree programme in September 2017.
  • Students who transfer to us from another university will not be eligible for the opportunity unless they transfer into stage 1 of their programme i.e. foundation year or first year.
  • If you already hold a degree then you cannot be considered for the opportunity .

Nationality: Anguilla, Austria, Belgium, Bermuda, British Antarctic Territories, British Indian Ocean Territory, British Virgin Islands, Bulgaria, Cayman Islands, Croatia, Cyprus (European Union), Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Estonia, Falkland Islands (Malvinas), Finland, France, French Guiana, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, the Republic of, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Mayotte (French Territorial Collectivity), Montserrat, Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Pitcairn, Henderson, Ducie and Oenno Islands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Scotland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, St Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha, Sweden, Turks & Caicos Islands, Wales are eligible to apply for this application .

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirements: All Home and EU students who achieve AAB or higher in their A Levels or equivalent (from three Level 3 qualifications only).

English Language Requirements: The standard University requirement is 6.0* with no sub-test less than 5.0 (or equivalent) on the IELTS or on the university’s own entry test the BASALT. However, if you require a Tier 4 (student) visa to study you will need to meet the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) department’s requirement which is currently IELTS 6.0 with no sub-test less than 5.5. Conditional offers to international students will be made on this basis.

How to Apply: You don’t need to apply – students will be assessed for the opportunity automatically shortly after A-level results in August 2017.

If you have got the grades then you have got the program!

Successful students will then be notified that they have been awarded the program by the end of October 2017.

Application Deadline: award is open for a 2017-2018 academic year.
