The university is offering for a scholarship for a limited number of MSc and PhD applicants on a competitive basis.

Arba Minch University is a residential national university, established in 1986. The university runs 74 undergraduate programs, 83 graduate programs, and 13 PhD programs.

AMU offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, and doctorate degrees in several areas of study.

• The Netherlands initiative for Capacity Building in higher Education (NICHE) has been offering for scholarship for limited number of MSc and PhD applicants on competitive basis.
• Scholarship recipients have the opportunity to stay in UNESCO-IHE and Waginengen Universities during their study period.
