AVENUE Scholarship Program in France, 2018-2019

For the fourth consecutive year, the French Embassy and the French Institute in collaboration with Diálogo, the Spanish-French Friendship Association, and French and Spanish companies are inviting applications for ‘AVENUE’ scholarship program.

The Institut français is the operator of the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs responsible for the promotion of French culture and language in the world.

The definitive delivery of the scholarship will be conditioned to the accreditation of a B2 level of French if the training is taught in this language (TCF or DELF-DALF) or English if the training is taught in this language.

Scholarship Description:

  • Application Deadline: May 27, 2018
  • Course Level: Scholarships are available to study and be trained during the academic year 2018/19.
  • Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded to study the subjects offered by the university.
  • Scholarship Award: Scholarships amount can reach 10,000 euros.
  • Nationalities: Scholarships are aimed at Spanish students or with double Spanish-French nationality and for Bachibac students.
  • Number of Scholarships: A total of 46 scholarships are available.
  • Scholarship can be taken in France

Eligibility for the Scholarship:

  • Eligible Countries: Scholarships are aimed at Spanish students or with double Spanish-French nationality and for Bachibac students.
  • Entrance Requirements:
    The selected students will benefit from the “boursier du gouvernement français” status (a grant from the French Government) that has many advantages.
    The definitive assignment of the scholarship will be conditioned to the accreditation by the student of his admission to the host institution in France. Each candidate is responsible for applying for enrollment in the higher education center of destination
  • English Language Requirements: The definitive delivery of the scholarship will be conditioned to the accreditation of a B2 level of French if the training is taught in this language (TCF or DELF-DALF) or English if the training is taught in this language.

How to Apply:

In the case of company grants, candidates must submit a curriculum vitae in French, the form to fill out online, as well as two letters of recommendation. For universities, the requirements of each one must be consulted in their respective web pages.
