AWARD OF SCHOLARSHIP TO LEARN HINDI IN CENTRAL INSTITUTE, AGRA, INDIA

Central Institute of Hindi, Agra is an autonomous organisation of Government of India which runs courses at various levels for foreigners to teach Hindi. Applications are invited for Hindi learning courses in the academic session 2008-2009. Salient features of the scholarship are given below –

  1. The academic session runs from 01 Aug, 08 to 30 th April, 2009.

  2. The candidate should have passed 10+2 ( ‘A’ level in UK).

  3. The candidate should have knowledge of primary level of Hindi.

  4. Monthly scholarship of Rs 3500 will be paid to the selected student.

  5. To and fro Economy class airfare will be paid by Govt of India.

  6. Hostel facility is available. However, a maintenance fee of Rs. 250 per month, along with mess charges will be payable by the student.

  7. Age limit is 21 to 35. Relaxation may be considered in special cases.

  8. Students will not be allowed to leave course midway.
