To assist global students in their academic journey by supplying good finance, the BIMM University has decided to award the Joan Armatrading Scholarship in the United Kingdom.
The scholarship is designed to assist individuals who demonstrate talent in their chosen discipline, strong creative potential, and a desire to pursue a career in the creative industries. - Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
- You are applying for an undergraduate degree at BIMM Music Institute Birmingham starting in September 2024.
- You are a UK national with a home fee status.
- You are from a low household income* and/or an under-represented group in higher education, including:
- Students from a global majority background
- Students with experience in care or who are estranged
- Mature students
- Students who identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community or are from a gender-diverse background
- Disabled students
- *Student Finance England (SFE) offers a full maintenance grant to students with a household income of £25,000 or less.
How to Apply
To apply for The Joan Armatrading Scholarship:
- Apply for an undergraduate degree course at BIMM Music Institute Birmingham starting in September 2024.
- Upon application, you will receive a scholarship application form.
- Complete and submit the scholarship application form by 28th June 2024.
- Scholarships will be awarded to those who accept an offer from BIMM Music Institute Birmingham and complete the enrolment process.
