Canada Graduate Scholarships Master's (CGS-M) Competition at the University of Alberta, Canada.

Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: All Canadian students are eligible to apply.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in a Master’s degree subject offered by the university
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
  • Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada or a Protected Person under subsection 95(2) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (Canada) as of the application deadline date.
  • Must be in a graduate program with a significant research component.
  • Must be enrolled in, have applied for, or will apply for full-time admission to an eligible graduate program at the master’s or doctoral level.
  • Must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher in each of the last two completed years of study (full-time equivalent)
  • Must not have received any other Tri-Agency funding for a master’s program.

  • How to Apply: Students can make admission applications online via FGSR/GSMS or GARS. All eligible applicants will be considered.

  • English Language Proficiency scores such as IELTS, Pearson, TOEFL, etc. (if applicable)
  • Additional departmental requirements, such as:
  • CV, statement of intent, and writing samples
  • GRE, GMAT, or other test scores
  • Reference letters (supply names and e-mail addresses of your references in the online application)
  • Admission Requirements: Students must check entry requirements when studying at the University of Alberta.
  • Language Requirement: English Language Proficiency scores such as IELTS, Pearson, TOEFL, etc. (if applicable)
