Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: Applicants (undergraduate and postgraduate) domiciled in the following countries: Bangladesh, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Nigeria, and Pakistan
  • If applicants are from one of the following countries/territories they will automatically be considered for a postgraduate award: Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Barbados, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Canada, Cameroon, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Egypt, Ghana, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Jamaica, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Kuwait, Malaysia, Nepal, Occupied Palestinian Territories, Oman, Panama, Peru, The Philippines, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Taiwan, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkey, UAE, Uganda, USA, and Vietnam
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded for the Undergraduate and Postgraduate taught course across a wide range of subject areas offered by Cardiff University.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
  • Only self-funding international students are eligible and applicants must be confirmed as overseas students for fee-paying purposes.
  • Full-time students who will be based on the Cardiff campus and start their studies in September 2023.

How to Apply

  • How to Apply: No separate application for the scholarship is required. If you are holding an offer for an eligible program, applicants will automatically be awarded the Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship upon enrolment.
  • Applicants must apply for an eligible course to be considered for the scholarship. A full list of eligible undergraduate and postgraduate programs is available online.
  • Applications for all full-time undergraduate courses must be made through the UCAS website.
  • Applicants can apply for the majority of the postgraduate taught and research
