Course Level: The studentships are available for PhD degree program at King’s College London.

Number of Awards: The Centre of European Law is pleased to offer up to two fully-funded (fees and fixed maintenance) Law PhD.

Award: The research studentships are tenable for up to a period of three years and the annual level of support may be broken down as follows:

 Maintenance  £16,650  £5,600

The award can be taken in the UK

Eligibility: 

  • Open to residents of the following countries All Nationalities (home, EU and overseas candidates)
  • Due to commence a full-time research degree program in European Law during 2017/18 within the Dickson Poon School of Law.
  • Please note that:

i) Existing research degree students are not eligible to apply;

ii) these endowments cannot be held on a part-time basis.

Nationality: The studentships are open to suitably qualified candidates from all nationalities.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have their previous degree.

Test Requirement: No

English Language Requirements: The level of English language, applicants are required to demonstrate is dependent upon the program for which they have applied. The level of English required for each programme is denoted by a five-band system, each band corresponds to a level of English language competence.
