China Three Gorges University is announcing the Chinese Government Award-Silk Road Program for international students to study in China.

The grant is open to support undergraduate students from Belt and Road Countries who want to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering.

China Three Gorges University was founded in 2000. CTGU consists of 30 colleges, 72 undergraduate programs covering nine fields including science, engineering, medicine, arts, economics, management, law, education, and fine arts.

• Admissible Criteria: Applicants must meet the following criteria:
• 18-25 years old, foreign passport holders of belt &road countries
• Chinese friendly, good physical and mental health, hardworking; academically excellent
• High school graduate with excellent results
• Valid HSK4 certificate or above, good Chinese language skills at listening, speaking, reading&writing
• Applicants without HSK 4 certificate or whose Chinese language is not functional, should take a one-year Foundation course in designated University before entering the degree program in China Three Gorges University. The scholarship covers a one-year Foundation course too.

• How to Apply: For applying, candidates need to register and submit your online application at the CSC Online Application System and China Three Gorges University Online Application System. Note: You should register on both sites.
• Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship of CGS system – The code of China Three Gorges University is 11075. Choose Program category type B, which refers to scholarship programs responsible by Chinese universities under Chinese Government Scholarship.
• Completed Application Form for International Student of CTGU system
• Supporting Documents: Students need to submit Notarized highest diploma or degree certificate issued directly by school or university with official stamp and signature, Academic transcripts, A Study Plan within 200 words, Two Recommendation Letters, Scanned copy of valid ordinary passport, Foreigner Physical Examination Form, Non-Criminal Record Certificate issued by Public Security Authorities, the copy of valid HSK Certificate or English language Proficiency Certificate (if available), and A five-minute video clip to introduce yourself in English or Chinese. Along with, applicants are required to download and print a hard copy of the application after complete the form and submit with the required documents.
• Admission Requirements: Before admission, students need to check out all the entrance requirements.
• Language Requirement: Candidates must submit a copy of valid HSK certificate or English language proficiency certificate.
