Cisco and Global Citizen are very happy to announce the Cisco Youth Leadership Award for young people from around the world who are leading their way to achieve global goals. The scholarship will be presented for the academic year 2023-2024. 

Candidates who have demonstrated significant impact in the last 3 to 5 years in the organization they work for are ideal participants and shall be considered. The winning individuals can expect to bring a whopping sum of $2,50,000 to the organization it represents.  

Global Citizen is an international education and advocacy organization. The organization is also known as the Global Poverty Project. It is working to bring its vision of a poverty-free world to life because it believes that the moment of today’s generation is in its own hands.

• Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
• The applicants must demonstrate transformative leadership. 
• The applicants must submit the applications in English language. 

How to Apply

• How to Apply: Candidates interested to apply for the award must complete and submit their application on the designated online portal. All applications will be reviewed upon submission and be considered. 
• Supporting Documents: The applicants must provide information about their role and how it is impacting the organisation they work for and, upon being shortlisted as finalists, they must submit two recommendation letters. 
• Admission Requirements: The applicants must have a (recommended) demonstrated impact over the last 3-5 years.
• Language Requirement: The applicants must be proficient in English language, considering that the applications are only accepted in English. 

Benefits

The winning individuals will be awarded a sum of $2,50,000 by the Global Citizen, which will be paid to the organization to which the individual contributes.
