The Concordia University of Edmonton is inviting outstanding applicants to apply for the Internal Research Grants program. Students that demonstrate the potential to lead will be awarded for the academic year 2023-2024. 

The candidates who wish to participate must be involved in knowledge mobilization activities that disseminate research knowledge into academic circles and the broader community. Faculty members’ research projects will be considered for funding under this grant, which will support activities such as conference presentations, workshops, and more.

  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present official transcripts of all secondary and post-secondary studies, language proficiency proof and other required documents. 
  • Admission Requirements: The applicants must have a four-year baccalaureate degree from a recognized institute with an admission grade point average (AGPA) of 3.0. 
  • Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
  • TOEFL IBT – 80
  • IELTS – 6.0
  • MELAB – 80 
  • CAEL – 60
  • CLB – 6
  • CAE/CPE – 165 


The successfully selected applicants will be awarded the Internal Research Grants by Concordia University of Edmonton to support short-term, targeted knowledge mobilization activities, such as conference presentations, workshops, juried artistic exhibits, oral histories, and commissioned reports.
