Coventry University Scholarships for International Students in UK, 2017

Coventry University Scholarships are open for January intake. These scholarships will be awarded to self-funded International fee-paying students applying for a full-time undergraduate degree programme.

In order to obtain a Tier 4 student visa, applicants are required to demonstrate that they have the correct level of English language competency to study in the UK. The requirements differ dependent on whether they are applying to study a Foundation or Pre-Sessional English programme or those who wish to study at undergraduate or postgraduate degree level.

Course Level: Scholarship is available for pursuing the undergraduate programme.

Study Subject: Scholarship is awarded to learn any of the courses offered by the university.

Eligibility:

Coventry Academic Performance Scholarship:

  • Self-funded International fee-paying students applying for a full-time undergraduate

Must hold:

  • Specific academic qualifications (at least two of three A-levels at grade A or equivalent qualifications)
  • Understanding of course and motivation to study at Coventry
  • Extra-curricular or work experience

Future Global Leaders Scholarship:

  • Self-funded and fee paying international students
  • Offer holder for a full-time undergraduate course

Must hold:

  • Specific academic qualifications.

Faculty of Business and Law – International Dean’s Excellence in Academia Scholarship (IDEAS): 

  • Self-funded and fee paying international students
  • Offer holder for a full-time undergraduate course within the Business and Law faculty

Must hold:

  • Specific academic qualifications.

Faculty of Engineering, Environment & Computing – International Dean’s Excellence in Academia Scholarship (IDEAS):

  • Self-funded and fee paying international students
  • Offer holder for a full-time undergraduate course within the Engineering, Environment & Computing faculty

Must hold:

  • Specific academic qualifications.

Faculty of Health & Sciences – International Dean’s Excellence in Academia Scholarship (IDEAS):

Nigeria High Achievers Scholarship:

  • Fee-paying Nigerian students applying for a full-time undergraduate course

India High Achievers Scholarship:

  • Fee-paying Indian students applying for a full-time undergraduate course.

  • Fee-paying Hong-Kong students applying for a full-time undergraduate course.

  • Fee-paying Malaysian students applying for a full-time undergraduate course.

USA High Achievers Scholarship: 

  • Fee-paying North American students applying for a full-time undergraduate course.

Indonesia High Achievers Scholarship: 

  • Fee-paying Indonesian students applying for a full-time undergraduate course.

Thailand High Achievers Scholarship:

  • Fee-paying Thai students applying for a full-time undergraduate course.

Vietnam High Achievers Scholarship: 

  • Fee-paying Vietnamese students applying for a full-time undergraduate course.

Nationality: International students can apply for these scholarships.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirements: Applicants must hold at least two of three A-levels at grade A (or hold equivalent qualifications).

Test Requirements: At undergraduate and postgraduate level, applicants must achieve a CEFR B2 level of English by successfully completing a ‘Secure English Language Test’ (SELT) or additionally they can attain a University approved English result from one of the below home countries:

  • India – HSSC 60% or above at undergraduate level
  • India – HSSC 65% or above at postgraduate level
  • Africa – WAEC – Level C6 or above

How to Apply: Students can apply through one of the following ways

  • Online application form
  • Downloadable application form
  • If students are an EU undergraduate student, they must apply through UCAS
  • Through one of Universities local offices in China, Kenya, Nigeria, Indonesia and Pakistan.
  • When applying, students will need to select which course they are applying for.

The International Office will need the following information in order to make a decision on application:

  • All academic transcripts
  • Copies of degree/diploma certificates or work reference if employed
  • One academic reference
  • The English language tests score
  • Personal statement
  • Copy of current passport

Application Deadline: The deadline to apply for this January 2017 scholarship is 31st October 2016.
