International Postdoctoral Fellowships in Applied AI and Data Science at SDU, Denmark 

Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: Overseas students are eligible to apply.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Students can apply for conduct a research to find the most effective ways to save lives and improve cancer outcomes across all interventions, including prevention, early detection, treatment, and car.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • Applicants must be international students.
  • They have applied for a Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarship.
  • Candidates have applied for admission, have an offer of admission or being currently enrolled to study full-time in a PhD within the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Sydney.
  • Applicants must conduct research to find the most effective ways to save lives and improve cancer outcomes across all interventions including prevention, early detection, treatment and care.
  • Be supervised by an academic who is a member of the Daffodil Centre. This supervisor must be your lead/primary supervisor.

How to Apply

  • How to Apply: In order to apply for this opportunity, applicants must take admission in a postgraduate research program at the university.
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
  • Final research proposal.
  • Official academic transcripts in the original language and English translation.
  • Curriculum Vitae or resume.
  • Two referee report
  • Any other documents, such as a portfolio of work or audition, specified in the course listing for your degree.
  • Admission Requirements: The applicants must hold master’s degree from a recognized university.
  • Language Requirement: The students must check all the English Language requirements of the university.

Benefits 

A full-time Scholarship recipient will be provided with the following benefits as part of their Scholarship:

  • Stipend allowance equivalent to the University of Sydney Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend rate for up to 3.5 years,
  • Tuition fees for up to 14 research periods,
  • Student services and amenities fee (SSAF) for up to 14 research periods,
  • Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the duration of the eligible degree, and
  • Relocation allowance for recipients who relocate from countries outside Australia to take up the scholarship. The value of the allowance is up to $1,500 for travel from their home country to Sydney at the commencement of studies and up to $1,500 for travel to return to their home country after successful completion of studies. The relocation allowance is to be claimed through Concur.
