The Eastman School of Music has established Eastman Need-Informed Merit International Scholarships for the academic year 2023-2024. 

This scholarship will especially be awarded to international or domestic undergraduate students who are in good standing and make satisfactory academic progress with a maintained GPA of 3.0. The applicants can expect the scholarship award to be presented towards the tuition fee of the programme. Partial coverage will be provided for up to 4 years of study.

Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: American and other overseas students can both apply. 
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Students can undertake an undergraduate degree course of choice taught at the University of Rochester Eastman School of Music. 
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The applicants must be in good standing. 

How to Apply

  • How to Apply: Students can apply for admission via the university portal. All eligible candidates will be considered accordingly.
  • Supporting Documents: The students must submit official transcripts from all schools attended and an admission essay.
  • Admission Requirements: The applicants must meet the academic requirements of the undergraduate program they wish to join and have obtained a GPA of 3.0 or higher. 
  • Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
  • TOEFL IBT – 64 to 100 
  • Duolingo – 95 to 139 
  • IELTS – 6.0 to 7.0 
  • Cambridge English – 169 to 185
