The applicant authorizes the Selection Committee to make such inquiries as to the applicant’s good character and suitability to receive the bursary, which includes an authorization for the Selection Committee to examine the applicant’s academic record and seek opinions from relevant members of the academic staff of this University or any other academic institution. Applications must be submitted on the official application form no later than the date set by the Selection Committee for the year in which the award is to be made.

The Selection Committee takes seriously its responsibility in awarding scholarships and therefore requires that all applicants provide accurate information about their qualifications and experience. In order to assess an applicant’s suitability for a scholarship, the Selection Committee may also require verification of an applicant’s credentials and employment history from recognized professional bodies.

  • I am or intend to enroll full-time in Ph.D., or Master of Philosophy with Music as my specialist area of study
