To provide financial support to students who received excellent results in the entrance examination, the Okayama University of Science has established the Entrance Examination Student Scholarships for privately financed international students for the academic year 2022-2023.

This scholarship is exclusively being offered to international students at the Okayama University of Science who are privately financed and have scored the highest on the entrance tests. The undergraduate or graduate programme of choice offered at OUS can be applied for. The selected students will receive a special scholarship to support studies that will cover full or partial study expenses.

  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:

  • The applicants must score highest on the Entrance Examination for International Students, Category A, Term I Mainland China, and Entrance Examination for International Students, Category A, Term II.

How to Apply

  • How to Apply: Applicants are required to submit an online admission application. All overseas national students that meet the criterion for the award will be considered accordingly.
  • Supporting Documents: The students must provide the university with documents to support their application, such as academic transcripts, scores of standardized tests, reference letters, language proficiency proof, and any other course-specific document.
  • Admission Requirements: The applicants must have the necessary academic qualifications to apply for a bachelor’s or master’s degree, i.e., must have graduated high school or have attained or are expected to attain a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study.
  • Language Requirement: The applicants must meet the language requirements of the university. Japanese and English language proficiency must be provided.

Benefits

The selected applicants will be awarded a scholarship covering the Study expense, i.e., tuition, facilities and equipment fee, and experiment and practice fee by the Okayama University of Science. Full or partial amounts will be exempted.
