Austrian Agency for International Cooperation in Education and Research (OeAD) is offering Eurasia-Pacific Uninet Scholarships. These funds are awarded to postgraduates and postdocs who are pursuing research program at one of EPU’s member institutions in China or Mongolia.
The programme is open for an applicant who wants to compete in the international market by means of study- and research semesters as well as teaching at member universities and research institutions.

The Eurasia-Pacific Uninet (EPU) was established in 2000 with the objective of creating an educational network for Austrian universities, universities of applied sciences and other educational institutions in Central Asia, East Asia, and the Pacific.

Grants are available to students and young researchers from Non-European developing countries for research or a study stay in Austria in the field of Natural Sciences Technical Sciences Human Medicine, Health Sciences Agricultural Sciences Social Sciences Humanities Arts.
How to Apply
- How to apply: For obtaining this grant, you need to be registered as a full-time postgraduate student at the university. After being enrolled at the university you can apply via online mode.
- Supporting Documents: Applicants need to submit a curriculum vitae/resume, written essay question answers in the application within 300 words each.
- Admission Requirements: To be eligible for admission in postgraduate coursework, you must have to hold the previous studies certificates with good grades.
- Language Requirement: In order to be eligible for university studies in Austria, you must have to meet the English requirements for the course or programme.
The successful scholar will recieve the monthly grant rate: 1,150 EUR, accommodation, health insurance, monthly rent: 220 to 480 EUR, monthly administrative fee: 18 EUR and travel costs subsidy of max. 1.000 EUR.
