Alumni of the FIFA/CIES program in Sports Management are in for a good news as the number of fully-funded positions have been increased by The International Center for Sports Studies (CIES).
The number has been increased by 2 to let alumni apply and then witness the 16th Edition of FIFA Master that starts in September 2015. The aim of the program in to strengthen the links between FIFA Master and student of the FIFA/CIES Program for Sport Management.

The scholarship also aims to increase the sense of belongingness of the Program alumni within the CIES community.
According to one of the recipients of the program in 2013, Diego Brenes (University of Costa Rica), the FIFA/CIES Program did not just give him the opportunity to learn various sports management methods but also let him apply for the FIFA Master and win a scholarship.
Mr. Brenes had an amazing experience with the course and in his opinion it is a motivating effort.
The scholarship covers living expense including transportation, accommodation and food along with registration cost to FIFA Masters. Each scholarship is of the value CHF 45,000. Winners of the program are selected by CIES based on recommendation and proposals from FIFA Masters Scientific Committee.
The following eligibility criteria must be met by the alumni of FIFA/CIES International University Network in order to apply for the opportunity .
-Candidate must have completed the FIFA/CIES Sports Management program successfully and earned the required corresponding diploma/certificate.
-Candidate must have met all the financial obligations of the institute where he/she was awarded the diploma/certificate.
-Must comply with the FIFA Master rules
-Must have earned a University degree and have an excellent command over spoken and written English.
-Have professional experience
Apart from the completing the FIFA Master, the chosen candidate will also have to write their experience in form of articles on the leisure and academic activities of the FIFA Master. Candidates must include their experiences during their 11 month stay in Leicester, Neuchatel and Milan.
