  • Admissible Criteria: Applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Hold a completed Master’s degree in cultural studies, literary and cultural analysis, gender studies, media studies, artistic research, philosophy, black studies, indigenous studies, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrate excellent research skills through an outstanding Master’s thesis and a track record of publishing in high-ranking journals or with leading presses.
  • Possess a cooperative attitude and willingness to engage in collaborative research.
  • Show enthusiasm for communicating academic research to non-academic audiences.
  • Have experience with the principles of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.
  • Proficient in the English language.

How to Apply

Interested candidates should submit the following documents online via the provided link:

  • A motivation letter demonstrating alignment with the call profile and ability to conduct independent research (1000 words).
  • A research proposal (1500 words) including project summary, theoretical frameworks, method/approaches, research aims/objectives, short bibliography, work plan, and timeline.
  • A list of all Master-level modules taken, with an official transcript of grades.
  • Names and email addresses of two references, including the thesis advisor, who may be contacted by the selection committee.
  • A diversity statement (500 words) explaining how experiences contribute to shaping diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • A full academic CV including previous education, professional information, conference presentations, publications, grants/honors, community engagement/service, and language proficiency.
  • A writing sample (in English), such as a paper or a chapter of a Master’s thesis (approximately 15 pages).
