Tilburg University has arranged to deliver a joint scholarship with the Fundacion Mexicana Para La Education, La Technologia y La Ciena, A.C. (FUNED). It offers a FUNED Scholarship for Mexican Students.

The university will provide financial support for talented and motivated Mexican students who wish to follow our Master’s and PhD programs at TU for the academic year 2023-2024.

Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: Mexican students are eligible to apply.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded for a Master’s or PhD degree program in any subject offered by Tilburg University.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
  • Applicants must be Mexican nationals, have achieved a GPA of 8.0 minimum 10-point scale in their first-degree program (i.e., Licenciatura), and hold a first-degree Mexican ‘Titulo.’

How to Apply

  • How to Apply: Students must first be admitted to Tilburg University, and then they can apply for FUNED no later than 90 days before leaving to study for their master’s.
  • Supporting Documents: As part of the application, you must submit a previous transcript for applying for this grant.
  • Admission Requirements: To be accepted into the master’s degree program, applicants must meet the university’s entry requirements.
  • Language Requirement: All students must have to meet the English language requirements of the university.

Benefits

FUNED waives 40% of the total amount given as a loan, a maximum of up to US$ 12,000 for a two-year program.

  • The amount provided to each prospective student will be based on the results of FUNED’s financial needs evaluation of the student, their repayment capability, and a personal interview.
  • For Master’s programs, Tilburg University offers a 25% discount on tuition fees above €10,000.
