The doctoral fellowship will support a four-year research project under the supervision of Prof. Tom Balthazar and Prof. Sylvie Tack. The research will focus on the legal framework surrounding healthcare choices during times of scarcity, particularly addressing issues arising from crises such as the COVID-19 pandemic. The project aims to conduct a comparative legal analysis across European countries, supplemented by empirical research within the Belgian healthcare system.
