British Council and Robert Gordon University are calling applications for the 2023 GREAT Scholarship program. The scholarships are available for any taught master’s program.

The funding opportunities are open for international students from Bangladesh, Egypt, India, and Pakistan pursuing an on-campus full-time master’s degree program starting in September 2023.

Robert Gordon University was established in 1992. Generally called RGU, it is a public university located in Scotland, UK. It is a place to study with an international reputation for offering high-quality education.

• Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded for any taught master’s program in all subjects.
• Admissible Criteria: To be qualified, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
• Be a citizen of Bangladesh, Egypt, India, or Pakistan
• Have an undergraduate degree that will enable applicants to gain entry onto a postgraduate program at a UK university
• Motivated and academically able to follow and benefit from a UK postgraduate taught course
• Active in the field with work experience or with a proven interest in the proposed subject area
• Meet the English language requirement of the UK Higher Education Institution
• Willing to embody the UK Higher Education experience by attending lectures and tutorials and engaging with extra-curricular activities, and act as an ambassador for UK Higher Education by promoting the value of studying at a UK HEI
• Willing to establish an engagement with the UK as a scholar through personal and academic fulfillment
• Represent the high standards of the GREAT brand by becoming an advocate for scholarships.
• Willing to attend a networking event of all UK-based GREAT scholars to discuss experiences and capture perceptions of studying in the UK

How to Apply

• How to Apply: Applicants must apply for the master’s program at Robert Gordon University. After having an offer from RGU, applicants can submit an online application form for the GREAT scholarship.
• Supporting Documents: Applicants must submit all the following documents:
• Degree certificate/ transcripts
• Passport (valid for at least 6 months from the date of enrolment)
• Personal statement
• Evidence of English language
• Admission Requirements: Before starting to study at RGU, applicants must meet all the admission requirements.
• Language Requirement: Before starting a course at Robert Gordon University, all students must demonstrate that they are proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and listening in English. Must meet all the English language requirements.
