Griffith University International Student Excellence Scholarship-High School Leavers

Griffith University is delighted to announce the International Student Excellence Scholarship–High School Leavers. The scholarship is open to international high school students applying for undergraduate studies for the academic year 2020-2021.

The scholarship covers 25% of tuition fees that will be deducted from undergraduate tuition fees for the duration of the program. Each deduction will be applied by the Griffith University census date of each relevant trimester of the program.

Eligibility for the Scholarship:

To be eligible, the applicants must be following all the given criteria:

  • Eligible Countries: Scholarships are available to students from a country other than Australia or New Zealand.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in the subject offered by the university.
  • Entrance Requirements: To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants  must meet the following criteria:
    • Be a graduate or graduating from a high school in Australia or overseas. refer to minimum GPA criteria (PDF).
    • Have applied and be eligible for admission, or be in receipt of a conditional or unconditional offer from the University, for entry into an undergraduate degree by the scholarship closing date.
    • Have satisfied all appropriate entry requirements for the proposed degree program, including results of the previous study and English language proficiency as per Griffith University’s entry requirements.
    • Be commencing and enrolling as a new full-time student in an undergraduate degree in Trimester 2 or 3 2020 at Griffith University.

  • How to Apply: To apply for the scholarship, the applicants must submit an online application.
  • Supporting Documents: Applicants must have to submit a certified/attested true copy of academic transcripts and supporting documentation demonstrating strong academic merit.
  • Admission Requirements: For being admitted, you need to meet entry requirements for each qualification you plan to study.
  • Language Requirement: If your previous study was undertaken in a language other than English, you may need to take an English language test to demonstrate you met the English language requirements for your degree.

Trimester 2 2020 – Applications close Friday, 17 April 2020 (for 6 July commencement). Outcome notified by 1 May.
Trimester 3 2020 – Applications close Friday, 7 August 2020 (for 26 October commencement). The outcome notified by 21 August.
