Eligibility Criteria

  1. Membership in an IFCN member society or the International Clinical Neurophysiology Society (ICNS) for candidates from non-affiliated countries.

  3. Intention to return to their home country after the fellowship period.
  4. No age restrictions.
  5. Ineligibility for previous winners to apply for another fellowship.
  6. Compliance with all relevant visa requirements prior to applying.
  7. Commitment to pursuing the fellowship at the designated institution without changes.
  8. Commencement of the fellowship within one year of receiving the award.
  9. Obtaining permission from the proposed supervisor(s) for the fellowship, with a requirement for the supervisor to complete a section of the application form.

Scope and Period of Training

The IFCN Research Fellowship encompasses training in various fields of clinical neurophysiology, including both general and specialized techniques. Successful candidates will engage in high-quality research projects with the potential for publication in peer-reviewed journals, preferably those affiliated with the IFCN. The duration of the research training ranges from a minimum of 3 months to a maximum of 1 year.
