Imperial College London is accepting applications for the fully funded PhD Scholarship program funded by a generous endowed gift from the late Professor Shawki Saad.

The funding program is open for international students ordinarily resident in Sub-Saharan Africa at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Selected students will receive the full cost of tuition fees and support with a stipend and travel costs.

  • A Masters level degree qualification
  • Scholarship awards are open to students who have not yet started their PhD studies in the Department.

Benefits

The program will fully cover the cost of overseas tuition fees for 3 years, a monthly living cost stipend (£19,668 2022/23) for 3.5 years and travel costs (flight and visa) for the successful applicant.
