-Meet the UTS admission criteria for the selected UTS undergraduate degree course; and
-Must be commencing studies in a UTS undergraduate degree in the next available intake after completion of the candidate’s UTS: INSEARCH Diploma; and
Scholarship Open for International Students: International students (Except Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen) have completed or be completing an INSEARCH Diploma in Sydney, Australia can apply for this UTS INSEARCH scholarship.
Scholarship Description: The UTS: INSEARCH to UTS Pathways Scholarship has been established to support high achieving UTS: INSEARCH graduates who wish to continue their studies in an undergraduate degree at UTS. It is awarded to an international student who is progressing directly into UTS from the INSEARCH Diploma program.
Number of award(s): Two new Recipients will be awarded the Scholarship each year at the time of admission to the UTS degree course, one Recipient will be awarded in each of the Autumn and Spring Semester intakes.
Duration of award(s): The duration of the UTS INSEARCH Scholarship is the standard number of semesters required for completion of the Recipient’s enrolled undergraduate course on the basis of a full-time study load, as specified in the letter of offer for admission to the course. Where the Recipient does not follow the usual standard full-time course structure, the total value of the Scholarship may be exhausted prior to course completion.
What does it cover? The recipient will have their tuition fees paid for the duration of their enrolled undergraduate course.
Selection Criteria:
-Academic merit based on their INSEARCH Diploma results;
-Motivation to succeed in the chosen UTS degree program, as demonstrated by the Scholarship application;
-Commitment to utilise the UTS degree to contribute to their community, as demonstrated by the Scholarship application;
-Likelihood that the receipt of the Scholarship will significantly increase the candidate’s ability to complete the degree at a higher level of performance than would otherwise be the case, as demonstrated by the Scholarship application.
Notification: Eligible candidates will be presented to a Scholarships Committee, which will undertake the selection of recipients, usually in mid February and July.
