International automotive engineering scholarships are offered by various universities to enhance students’ technological knowledge. Automotive engineering is a branch of mechanical engineering which is a very broad field. Students of automotive engineering are supported by various universities for most exciting and bright professional career. Various universities which are providing international automotive engineering scholarships have its own eligibility and application criteria.

Automotive Engineering MSc: City University London is providing international student scholarships of £2,000 value for MSc automotive engineering students. Applicants should hold a lower second class honours degree in mechanical or automotive engineering or a related scientific or engineering discipline, or the equivalent from an international institution. Consideration is given to candidates who can demonstrate, by work experience in an appropriate field, the ability to undertake the course.

 Southern Automotive Women’s Forum Scholarship: The SAWF Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to women enrolled or enrolling in a STEM field at an accredited two-year technical program, four-year undergraduate program, or graduate program hopefully to be used for a career in the automotive industry. SAWF has already provided scholarships totaling over $125,000, in increments ranging from $500 to $5,000. In the future, SAWF expects to include an ever-increasing number of scholarships. Scholarships are mainly announced between late summer and early fall for use during the upcoming academic year. Deadline for these scholarships are June 15 and December 1.

SWE Scholarships: The SWE Scholarship application is now open for sophomores through graduate students for the 2015-2016 academic years. The SWE scholarship program provides financial assistance to women admitted to accredited baccalaureate or graduate programs, in preparation for careers in engineering and engineering technology. This scholarship will again be awarded to a student studying at a university in the Querétaro, Querétaro, Mexico. Scholarships are typically awarded in May (sophomore, junior, senior and graduate students) and July (freshmen and reentry students) for use during the following academic year. Recipients are announced in September.

Aeronautical and Automotive Engineering: Loughborough University is offering international scholarships to MSc Automotive Systems Engineering students which cover 10% of the tuition fee. That amount will be credited to the student’s tuition fee account. Up to five Full-time scholarships are offered by the university.

Automotive Engineering MEng, BEng: School of mechanical engineering is providing scholarships to the students typically undertake the integrated Masters (MEng, BEng) as this is the most direct route to becoming a chartered engineer (CEng). The Course duration for this scholarship is 3, 4 or 5 years depending on option taken. Scholarships cover up to £8,000 value.
