The United Nations is very delighted to be announcing that the International Design Education (IDE) Program at Zhejiang University is now open. The applications can be made for the ongoing academic year 2023-2024. 

The students can apply for postgraduate study in industrial design engineering at Zhejiang University. The applicants must be from one of the 46 least developed countries and under 35 years of age to be eligible to be considered. The award will cover not just tuition fees but also accommodation, insurance and a monthly stipend.

Students interested to apply for the scholarship must then send the admission application form and other below-listed materials to Ningbo Innovation Center, Zhejiang University in ZIP or RAR file via email at [email protected]. 
• Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
• Admission Application Form of Zhejiang University
• A scanned copy of passport biopage (PDF/JPG format)
• Highest degree certificates, which must be scanned copies of original documents or notarized copies.
• Bachelor’s degree Academic transcripts, 
• Scanned copies of English proficiency certificates
• Personal statement
• Two letters of recommendation from full Professors or Associate Professors in Chinese or English
• Published academic papers or other academic achievements 
• An applicant who has given up their original Chinese citizenship and become foreign citizens shall provide the documents certifying the cancellation of Chinese nationality, according to the policy of the Ministry of Education of the PRC (PDF format)
• Documents certifying acquiring foreign citizenship at the time of birth or Documents certifying parent’s permanent residence in a foreign country before the birth of applicants

• Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
