International PhD Scholarships in New Treatment for Neurological Disorder, Australia

Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: Domestic or international students can apply. 
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Students can apply for a PhD level study program at the College of Medicine and Public Health at Flinders University. 
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The applicants must be available to commence as full-time PhD students at Flinders University in the first half of 2023.
  • The applicants must have experience with biology laboratory methods. 
  • The applicants must be from medicine, biology, physics, chemistry or engineering background to win preference.

  • Admission Requirements: The applicants must have an Australian Honours degree Class 1 or 2A or equivalent international qualification, including a research component of at least 6 months of full-time study achieving Distinction (75%); or including evidence of research experience. 
  • Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
  • IELTS – 6.5 
  • TOEFL IBT – 80 
  • PTE – 58 
  • CAE – C 
  • Duolingo – 110 

Benefits

The successfully selected PhD students will be provided a stipend valued $33,000 per annum (tax-free) along with additional top-up scholarships, full tuition fees and expenses incurred in annual participation at conferences and travel to the overseas research partner.
