International Postdoctoral Positions in Cell Factory Engineering and Production of Aromatic Biochemicals in Sweden

Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: Swedish students, as well as other international candidates are both eligible to apply.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Applicants can apply for a postdoctoral in Local Energy Communities at Chalmers.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The applicant must have a PhD degree in electrical engineering or related field awarded no more than three years prior to the application deadline (according to the current agreement with the Swedish Agency for Government Employers). The applicant is required to have
  • i) Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience in developing energy management systems for resource optimization and control of multi-energy local energy communities (e.g., residential buildings) using relevant optimization tools and programming languages (e.g., Python); AND
  • ii) Experience in machine learning methods and applications in local energy systems/communities and electrical distribution systems.
  • The successful applicant should demonstrate strong scientific publication records in top-ranked journals in the field and well-developed problem-solving skills.
  • The applicants are also expected to have an excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English.
