The Department of Applied Physics and Electronics is now accepting applications for the Postdoctoral Scholarships in Economics at Umea University. This study program is open for the academic session 2022/2023.

The scholarship is full-time for two years available to both domestic and international applicants who are commencing a postdoctoral program at the university.

Umeå University provides 150 study programmes and 1,800 courses. More than 40 programmes and 450 courses are offered with instruction language entirely in English. • Admissible Criteria: Applicants must have completed a doctoral degree or a foreign degree deemed equivalent to a doctoral degree. This qualification requirements must be fulfilled no later than at the time of the decision about the scholarship recipient.

• Verified copy of doctoral degree certificate or documentation that clarifies when the degree of doctor is expected to be obtained,
• Verified copies of other diplomas, list of completed academic courses and grades,
• Copy of doctoral thesis and 5 relevant publications,
• Other documents that the applicant wishes to claim
• Admission Requirements: For taking admission, seekers are needed to hold their bachelor and master’s degree certificates with good academic grades in the relevant subject area.
• Language Requirements: If English isn’t your first language we have a range of courses to help you improve your English language skills.
