Tun Dato Sir Cheng-Lock Tan MA Scholarship for Singaporean Scholars, 2015

The Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (ISEAS) offers MA scholarship programme for Singaporean scholar who possess a good Master’s degree (or professional qualifications of equivalent standing) in a relevant discipline. Each scholarship will be tenable for one or two years at reputable universities in Singapore or elsewhere. Successful candidates on return will be attached to ISEAS on a one year internship. The application deadline is 31st January 2015.

Study Subject(s): Scholarship is awarded in the following fields: Southeast Asian Studies, Economics, Political Science and International Relations and Sociology and Anthropology, History and Geography.
Course Level: Scholarship is available for pursuing MA programme at reputable universities in Singapore or elsewhere.

Eligibility: Applicants must be:
-Singapore citizens and permanent residents;
-possess a good Master’s degree (or professional qualifications of equivalent standing) in a relevant discipline
-have a consistently good academic record and;
-be prepared to take up courses and/or carry out research on Southeast Asia.

Scholarship Open for Students of Following Countries: Students of Singapore are eligible for this MA scholarship.

Scholarship Description: The Institute of Southeast Asian Studies is a regional research center dedicated to the study of socio-political, security and economic trends and developments in Southeast Asia and its wider geostrategic and economic environment.
