International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) is pleased to offer internship programme on African Protected areas & Conservation (PAPACO) for the year 2016. Interns must have excellent writing skills in English (candidates whose first language is not English will not be considered). This is a two months fixed term internship programme. This is an unpaid internship programme. Internship application deadline is 23 May 2016.

Field of Internship: The Program on African Protected areas & Conservation (PAPACO) aims at improving the management and governance of protected areas in Africa and their positive results on biodiversity conservation.

Eligibility:

  • Excellent writing skills in English (candidates whose first language is not English will not be considered)
    Strong knowledge of French (as this will be the language to translate from)
  • Involved in a university degree (bachelor or masters) in any relevant matter, especially translation, medias, edition etc.
  • Interest for nature conservation (studies or personal interest)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft office.
