  • Eligible Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in Anatomy / Forensic Anthropology / Forensic and Medical Art, Architecture and Urban Planning, Art and Design, Biological/Biomedical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Business, Civil Engineering, Computing, Dentistry, Education, Electronic Engineering, Energy Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy, Geography / Environmental Science, History, Law, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, Philosophy, Physics, Politics and International Relations, Psychology, Social Work.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be considered to apply for the award, the applicant must meet the following criteria:
  • Studying an undergraduate programme in any of the University of Dundee’s Academic Schools in September 2020
  • Indian domiciled

How to Apply

  • How to Apply: For empowering with the award, applicants have to enrol in the bachelor’s degree coursework at the university. There is no separate application form for this scholarship.
  • Supporting Documents: Must provide your driving licence, valid passport, or other official photo ID.
  • Admission Requirements: Students must have good results (60% overall) in the CBSE, ISC or leading state board XII Standard exams.
  • Language Requirement: If your first language is not English, you will need to demonstrate that you meet the University’s English language requirement for the degree you have applied for:
  • Take a proficiency test such as a UKVI-approved IELTS
  • Provide a previous qualification that confirms your English level
  • Successfully pass the University of Dundee language course
  • Provide evidence that you meet one of our English language exemptions

  • The educational bursary will provide the amount of £10,000 for talented candidates.
  • This scholarship will be awarded to an Indian-domiciled student who wishes to study for an undergraduate degree in any subject starting in 2023.
  • The winner of the scholarship will receive a single payment of an additional £5,000 on top of the South Asia Regional Scholarship (which is worth £4,000 per year) or the Global Excellence Scholarship (worth £6,000 per year).
