Jerusalem-Doctoral Research Fellowship in Israel, 2017

OeAD is inviting applications for Jerusalem-Doctoral Research Fellowship. The fellowship is aimed at highly qualified doctoral students of the social, legal, and human sciences who would like to complete a research stay at the Center for Austrian Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem as part of their dissertation.

The OeAD is the Austrian agency for international mobility and cooperation in education, science and research.

Study Subject: Fellowship is awarded in the field of social sciences, Psychology, economics, sociology, jurisprudence, political science, humanities, history, archaeology, linguistics and literary sciences, philosophy, ethics, religion, others and interdisciplinary humanities.

Scholarship Award: Monthly grant amount 1,500.00 EUR, Own funds required and No travel expenses allowance from the BMWFW

Scholarship can be taken in Israel

Eligibility: Highly qualified doctoral students, who are enrolled at an Austrian university or at one of the following universities with an affiliated Austria Center for doctoral or PhD (corresponding to the orientation of the Center for Austrian Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem): University of New Orleans (Center Austria / Austrian Marshall Plan Center for European Studies), University of Minnesota (Center for Austrian Studies), Palacký University of Olomouc (Center for German-Moravian Literature), University of Leiden (Chair of Central European Studies with focus on Austria), Andrassy University of Budapest (Faculty of Central European Studies) and University of Alberta (Institute for Austrian and Central European Studies).

Nationality: Citizens of Canada; Netherlands; Austria; Czech Republic; Hungary; United States of America are eligible to apply.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have previous degree.

Test Requirement: No

English Language Requirement: Applicants whose first language is not English are usually required to provide evidence of proficiency in English at the higher level required by the University.
