In general, KU Leuven requires a minimum score of 79-80 on the TOEFL iBT test (equivalent to 213 on a computer-based TOEFL test or to 550 on a paper-based TOEFL test).
Course Level: PhD projects are available for engineers and/or architects and for those with a keen eye on porous (building) materials.
Study Subject: Applicant will work on the project titled, “Wall hydrophobization and internal insulation: a match made in heaven/hell” or “Multi-scale imaging and reconstruction of pore structures of building materials”.

Eligibility: The eligible applicant should be willing to obtain a PhD degree in Civil Engineering.

College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirement: To be admitted to the PhD Programme a student must meet the General Admission requirements, must already have been awarded the diploma of Master of Philosophy (MPhil) from KU Leuven and distinguished him/herself in his/her studies.

Applicant can apply while currently being a M.Sc. student, but they have to have obtained M.Sc. degree before the date of appointment.
